Hi I'm Katrina

I have lived in Utah all my life. I love life and this gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Little bit about me. I love to be involved with theater. I have been performing for about 11 years. I also love to travel, experience, and learn new things! For example: Food! I am so passionate about food, I guess you could say it is one of my favorite hobbies. My future plans are to serve a mission in Argentina (which I will be in January), get home, and hopefully attend USU to study High school counseling. I love working and being around people. That's pretty much me in a nut shell!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon. Well being brought up in the church I never really knew anything out of the church. But my parents, my teachers, and leaders of the church had taught me that if I were to know the truth about anything in life, had to WANT to know for myself, and study it out for myself. So when I was 16ish years old, I had a lot of questions about the church I had been apart of my whole life, and I told myself "Katrina it's either all true or it's not. Find out for you." So thats what I did. I had the Book of Mormon with my family when I was younger, but with the older language, it's not the easiest thing to understand. So I began reading it on my own, and No I still did not understand everything, but I would pray to my Heavenly Father before I read, asking Him to help feel that what I was reading was true. I have never prayed so hard in my life, because I needed to know. I was reading in the book of Alma, and I just got the feeling in my heart and mind that "This Gospel, this book, it's all true." I have never forgotten that feeling, and my testimony of the truth of this Gospel has only grown as I have continued to study, and learn. I can now say with all my heart that this is Christs true church. He is my Savior and Redeemer, and Joseph Smith did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and he restored Christs gospel on the earth again. And like Joseph Smith I know this is true, and I cannot and will not deny it.

How I live my faith

I was put into leadership positions since the age of 12. I had the opportunity to plan and organize lots of activities for the youth in my area. I was apart of my seminary council, and we would do our best to get the youth involved in the community, and the church. And the result of these projects would be a closer knit group of kids from all different back rounds coming together and having a good time while doing service.
