Hi I'm Tailor Kirkman

I grew up in Boise Idaho, I love to play sports. I was born and raised in The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

My name is Tailor, I just graduated high school last year and am preparing to serve my mission in Minneapolis Minnesota. I love to play sports and be out doors or in the mountains. I have played hockey since the age of 5. I also started playing volleyball and basketball in 7th grade all through out high school. My favorite sport now is lacrosse which I started playing my sophomore year in high school. I love to be out side running around with all of my friends. I have two younger brothers who are the ages of 10 and 12. I enjoy spending time with them and watching them play sports now that I am out of high school. I love photography. I enjoy taking candid pictures or pictures of my brothers playing around. I like to catch memories on film. I enjoy life and try my best to have a positive attitude.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, growing up it was hard for me because I was careless. My parents never forced anything on me but they were examples for me. They let me choose what I believed and gave me the opportunity to find out for myself. I was in places I shouldn't of been in and done things I shouldn't have done but because of the atonement I was able to come back and be cleansed. Making mistakes and being where I was helped me realize the true joy that the gospel brings. I may have been happy in the moment but I didn't have the eternal happiness. I now see that I do and I can't wait to share that with others! I know that this church is true and that our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children. He gives us trials and challenges because He knows that we are strong enough to handle them and they will help us grow even more. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, I have read the book and prayed about it for myself. I know that through the scriptures and through prayer we are able to communicate with our Father in Heaven. I am so grateful for this. He listens to our prayers and answers them in His timing. We just have to use our faith to continue in happiness. I love this church and the guidance that it gives me, I will forever be grateful for the experiences I have had and the impact that the church has had on me.

How I live my faith

I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Being at church and having a ward family has always been wonderful. I love having people I know will always be there for me and people that I can reach out and help as well. We are all brothers and sisters, and I can't wait to help the people of my mission understand that concept.
