Hi I'm Karinya (Kariña)

I'm a happy girl, full of sunshine. a Globetrottin', book lovin', sports playin' ball of fun. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Only child, I am half Chilaen, half Norwegian, but raised in Australia. Traveled the world by the time I was 2. I love sports, I used to play a lot of soccer, but I am also not afraid of getting tough and I'm extremely clumsy, so I got injured a lot. I love reading, I can read anything interesting, but mostly I read fantasy, sci-fi and good ol' classics! I love Disney, just ask anyone who knows me, anything Disney. Things owned by Disney as well, such as Marvel! Love comics. And am preparing to serve a mission in Norway. 'cause I love the gospel too

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, that doesn't mean i didn't doubt it, or even wanted to be a member of the church. But i searched for truth, and i did what they recommend everyone to do. I prayed about it , I searched for an answer, and I got one loud and clear. It wasn't easy, but definitely worth it. I know God lives and i have felt the joy that comes with following his gospel. The peace and happiness i have felt is something i never want to live without, and I am so grateful to have the church in my life. it gives me great comfort and strength. He helps me become a better person every day. I have felt his love and spirit, and I know this church to be true. It makes may days more awesome, and i just love the gospel. So much joy!!

How I live my faith

I love going to church, my favorite is being with the youth or children, they can teach me so much, about as much as I can teach them. I try to be the person heavenly father wants me to be, it's not a perfect person, but striving to be the best version of me. I live my faith by loving others.

What is being a Mormon like?

Karinya (Kariña)
It's great, it gives much joy. It's different, in a good way. In order to make a difference in the world we must be different from the world. some may think we are weird, but I can't imagine my life without the church. it's made me a lot more happier than i thought I would be, being a mormon gives great comfort, for we have been able to learn so much Show more Show less
