Hi I'm Ben

I am an avid adventurist. I am a music lover. I have DJ'd in front of thousands all over the USA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and what it has to offer. There is so much beauty in the world and I love seeing all there is to see. Whether it be hiking, camping, fishing or through my favorite- Music. I have loved music my whole life. I love what it can do for people. It can turn a bad day into a happy day. I love being able to share my passion of music through performing as a DJ. I have traveled all over the United States. Seeing everyone enjoy the music I play and seeing everyone in such a happy state is why I love what I do. As much as I love performing I have decided to serve a Full time mission, I will be serving in Milwuakee, Wisconsin, teaching in the Spanish Language. I cannot wait to show the true happiness that comes from living the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a mormon but just like anyone else I went through trials that tested my faith. When I was 15 years old my parents went through a divorce, our family was devastated, I was devastated. I turned my back on the christ and the church as a whole. I had a hard time living up to the standards. At one point I didn't know if I believed anything I had learned growing up was true. I had made choices that lead me to deep dark feelings that were felt all the time, It caused me to withdraw completely from my family. I remembered how great the church made me feel when I was active so I decided to figure it out for myself (after frequent loving reminders from my family) and read the Book of Mormon. There was a burning feeling that I could not deny. After many prayers I decided to start on my path to repentance. Repentance was not an easy process, it was kind of like a roller coaster ride, but slowly a surely I made my way back. I was able to feel the spirit testify to me that the church was true and the Atonement of Jesus Christ was real. I knew that if I lived the principles taught in the Church I would feel true happiness. I am now 22 years old and have never been happier. Being Mormon has taught me what true happiness is. I know that Jesus Christ died for us so we can repent of our sins and be truly happy. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of god. This book has so many answers to all of life's questions. I have seen both sides of the fence and know I will always be a mormon. I know that my family will be together forever. Most of all I know that this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, that he loves us dearly and wants us to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

I always strive to be an example to everyone around me. I look for opportunities to serve in my church, community and anyone in need. Service wherever it may be needed, will always be my favorite way to live my faith. I love helping others in need. It may not always be something big, maybe it is just a ear to listen, whatever it may be to help I love to do it!
