Hi I'm Chanel

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Reno, but claim Arizona as my real home. I work in Property Management, and love to spend my time exercising. I am a certified spin instructor, but also love to be outdoors in the beautiful Arizona weather hiking challenging mountains. I am a huge animal lover of both dogs and cats. I have one brother but consider my brother's wife my soul sister. I was raised by my parents, but owe a lot of my upbringing to my grandmother that travelled to the United States from Germany 60 years ago after falling in love with my grandfather, and wanting to raise a family with him here. Even though it is important for me to stay healthy and fit, I consider myself a cookie monster, and love to eat sweets.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Being a member of His church makes me want to develop better relationships with everyone in my life. I have, and am still getting to know who my Heavenly Father is everyday, and with everything I learn I am able to draw closer and closer unto him, which gives me a sense of purpose, and happiness. My life has become more full since becoming a member. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and joined three years ago.

How I live my faith

I am always sharing my testimony on the things that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teach. I pray and read my scriptures daily to seek answers and help myself through any trial I may be facing. I visit teach girls in my ward (church), by becoming a better friend and helping them with everyday things, like bringing them dinner, helping with chores, etc.. I also have a calling in the Compassionate Service Committee, where I reach out and help girls that may be sick or having a particularly hard time with something in their lives. I try to be there for them. I live my faith by trying to be the best I can by following my Savior's example.
