Hi I'm Jennifer Burden

I was born in Pennsylvania. Rasied in Kentucky.

About Me

Hi I'm Jennifer, I was born in Pennsylvania, raised in Kentucky, moved to Utah at age 17 by myself and worked for about 2 and a half years. And now I'm a missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Growing up I played many different sports such as cheering, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, track and very much loved being outdoors....love off road-ing, mudding, and shooting guns. I very much love bigger cities and the feel of them. I love music, movies, good food, hiking, star-gazing, just being in the nature. I love laughing with my family and friends. I dont like to waste time. I love being busy. I believe that our dreams can become reality, if we work hard and put all our efforts into achieving them. Time is very important to me it is the best tool we have to achieve our purposes and our goals! Everyday is a blessing, and I'm grateful to be alive!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contains complete truth and is literally Jesus Christ's Church on the Earth.I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. When I read it I feel good, and I am more at peace. I have found answers to important personal questions and it has helped me come closer to Jesus Christ.I used to be a girl with no self-confidence. But know I know each of us is the precious child of God and how unique we are. I know he loves everyone of us. I'm also convinced that I want to follow him to make myself a better and happier person day by day. It makes me happy. I find that I am the most happy when I am serving others, making good decisions and trying to be like Jesus. I know who I am, why I am here and where I will go after this life.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is a natural way of living easy and simply. It is more than following rules, it is simply doing correct things. As members of the Church, we have the opportunity to improve our lives, individually, as a family, and as part of our communities. We can be a light to the world by doing small and simple things that help to improve our environment. I try to do the basics. I pray morning and night, attend church and read my scriptures daily. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that to be a disciple of Christ, I have to try and follow Christ’s teachings in the more complex and difficult areas of my life. It also means forgiving people when I don’t want to. Finally, it means serving other. I like helping others and making people happy. I am learning how to be a missionary and how to share the good news of this Gospel.
