Hi I'm Christian Berger

I play ultimate as a sport. I'm going on a mission to Russia. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up literally all over the place. I've lived in Southern and Northern California, Idaho, Utah, and Taiwan. And now I'm going on a mission to Russia. But the thing is, this church is the same wherever you are. I've been in the church my whole life, and I know it has blessed me. Other than church, I've grown to love a couple things: my family, my friends, ultimate, and music. My family and friends are very important to me, and they have been great examples to me. I met most of my friends through marching band and ultimate Frisbee. It's great to be with people who have the same standards and the same interests as you do. I never won state in either of these activities, but more importantly I learned from my experiences and gained new friendships.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said previously, I've been raised in this church since I was born. I've always felt like this is the true church and I love it because it brings so much joy and happiness into my life. One of my favorite teachings of this gospel is that we can be with our families forever, even after death! I know that this is possible through Christ's Atonement, where He took upon Him all the world's sins so that we can repent and be clean so we can enter into God's kingdom after death. It's so amazing to me that He would do that for us, and it shows the immense amount of love that He has for us. I'm going on a mission because I can spread this knowledge with others so that they can have the same joy and happiness that I have. I know that this is the same church that Christ organized when He was on the Earth and that it has been restored in these latter-days. I know it, I live it, and I love it! I'm a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to exemplify Christ as often as I can. I've found the best way to do this is by helping others. Whether it's something physical like helping a family move into a new house or something as simple as smiling at someone, service is the best way to forget yourself and truly love others. Now I'm going on a mission to Rostov-na-Donu, Russia, where I can serve others by teaching them this gospel and letting them know the happiness that comes with it.
