Hi I'm Christopher Takacs

I was born in Hungary but grew up in England. I am currently undergoing Royal Marine training and I`m a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. I joined the Church in December 2012 and have been continue to be an active member since than. I love football, both American and normal football, I am a huge Chelsea and Denver Bronco fan. I am currently in training to fulfil my dream of becoming a Royal Marines Commando.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, when I was going through my lessons with the missionaries I felt the power and the presence of the Holy Ghost. This feeling stuck with me when I was praying for answers to my question whether the message that the missionaries share with me are true or not. Furthermore, the Eternal blessings that the Gospel carries such as Eternal family and marriage was something that affected me deeply as I was entering military service. Living the Gospel has brought happiness and success in my life. Whilst being a member is challenging at times Heavenly Father is always there to help me when I asked for help through prayer and obedience to his Teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow the Commandments which I committed to when I joined the Church, go on teaches with missionaries and attending activities that are organised by the Church as well as going to Church every Sunday. Since I been in military training I haven't had as much time as before but I always try my best to attend Church whenever possible.
