Hi I'm Brandon Moos

I've been LDS all my life, and I am currently serving in the Texas Houston East Mission, and I have been called of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I currently am serving a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Prior to my mission, I could be seen playing sports, going to movies, driving my car, playing video games, and giving service to my family. Right now, I know that I have been entrusted with the responsibility to bring others to Christ, and I know that through my Heavenly Fathers wisdom, I can live up to that calling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the hand of my savior at work in my life. I have witnessed the healing and saving power which Jesus Christ has bestowed upon me. I know that I came to this earth for a purpose, and that my faith in Jesus Christ will provide everything I could ever need. I know that I could never be the person I am without my Saviors perfect knowledge of me. I know he sees more in me than I could ever see in myself, and that he will guide and direct me as I seek his path. I know that Joseph Smith restored this Gospel through the Authority that Jesus Christ gave to his apostles, and that I have been called through that same Authority. I know that everyone can receive the blessings which God has Promised to his Children, on the condition of living Christ's doctrine which is, Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Doing everything we can to live up to Christ's name.

How I live my faith

Prior to my Mission, I served in my Ward's Sunday School Presidency, which is involved with the different classes which youth (12-17), Adults (18+), and New Converts (Any Age) participate. I help to make sure there are teachers available, help teachers with being prepared to teach their age appropriate lessons, and preparing for my mission. Now that I am serving, my One and Only purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ, by helping them to receive the Restored Gospel, through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. I know that as I serve my Heavenly Fathers children, that I can be a blessing in others lives.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Brandon Moos
Imagine for a moment that you lived during Christ's time, and that you didn't live anywhere near Jerusalem. You've believed the stories which your histories prophesy of the Savior. You have Prophets who teach and testify of our Lord and Savior's love. They in turn write down these teachings. This is how we were first given scriptures. As a result, We know that we have been blessed with further wisdom and insight, that gives us another guideline along with the bible, to testify of Jesus Christ. I know that as you read the Book of Mormon, and search the answers to questions which you hold dear to your heart, that the teachings it provides will bring balance and harmony to your life. You will know our Savior better, and will know that He truly is the Son of God. I know that as I have studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I have seen so many blessings in my life from their teachings, and that God will answer anyone's prayers if they "... ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Moroni 10: 4-5) Show more Show less
