Hi I'm Teresa

I am a mormon.

About Me

I am married with two boys. I work full time at an office that makes artificial limbs and braces. When I'm not at work I like to spend time with my family and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel. I grew up in a loving home with 1 brother and 2 sisters. My parents were less active when I was born, but became active through faithful home teachers, and when I was three years old we were sealed together in the Provo Temple. My family was very active for about 7 years and then we moved and my father became less active again. I've seen the difference in a home when the gospel is an active part of your life and when it is not, and that is why I choose to be a Mormon. My testimony has always been there, but after high school I became less active myself for about ten years. When my first son turned three years old I knew I needed to take him to church so he could learn the gospel. Since my husband was not interested in the church, I would gather up my two boys, my second son was 1 1/2, and I began taking them to church every week. I realized I liked myself better as a person when I was living the gospel than when I was not. It took about five years of consistent church attendance to be truly converted. There was no big event that occurred, I simply began having the desire to obey each of the gospel standards until I had no desire to that which was contrary. I know that no matter the circumstances in your life, you can be even better with the gospel in your life.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the Presidency over the children in our ward and I love them very much. I love going to the temple and am so lucky to have one only a mile from my home. I go often with my sister and sister-in-law.
