Hi I'm Kalem

I grew up in Idaho. I love the outdoors. I'm so excited to serve a mission.

About Me

I've been home schooled most of my life, and I absolutely love to learn. I am a sophomore in college now and I have no idea what career I want to go into yet. I am the oldest out of 6 children in my family and I enjoy spending time with all my little siblings doing little things like jumping on our trampoline or playing board games or wrestling. I love anything outdoors, from camping and living primitively like the native Americans to sailing, mountain biking and rock climbing, I love it all! I'm really into filming and photography and am always trying to find new things to film. I will be serving a two year mission for the church starting in January and I am soooo excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church. I have never really had a grand conversion story where I quickly gain a huge testimony of the church. For as long as I can remember I have had a testimony of the truthfulness of the church, and as I've grown that testimony has grown also. I know the Church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and by the power of the Holy Ghost, I have received a witness that it is true. The reason I stay in the church is because I know of its truthfulness, its that simple. Christ's gospel is here to make us happy by teaching us the joy that comes from service, gratitude, kindness, charitable giving, and most of all from loving all those around you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by learning all I can about the gospel, and applying that knowledge to my own life as much as I can. I love doing service projects and serving others whether it's tiny acts of service or large projects, it makes me happy to do service. I am one of the leaders in my youth group and I help plan our activities and help the other youth grow and become close to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
