Hi I'm Angie

I'm a psychotherapist, I love reading, crafting and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My father was in the military, so I moved frequently throughtout my life. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was living in Germany, at the age of 15 1/2. I was fortunate to be able to stay home and raise my five children, which was the greatest joy of my life. After my youngest child graduated from high school, I decided to go back to school and complete a master's degree in Social Work. I now work as a therapist which is a wonderfully rewarding experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after searching for truth, I was able to receive my own witness through the Holy Ghost that the gospel as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is indeed true. Imagine that! I did not have to rely on someone else's teachings, but my Heavenly Father, through the gift of His Holy Spirit, blessed me with a sure witness that Jesus is the Christ, and that His gospel is once again here on the earth. I love being part of a ward family, meeting every Sunday with people who, like me, are trying the best they can to live a good life. Despite the ups and downs I encounter in my life, I have found lasting joy.

How I live my faith

When I was 15, I had a strong desire to discover my purpose here on the earth. I began visiting many churches and ultimately was introduced to the missionaries who taught me the gospel. I knew immediately I had discovered the truth, not only did the gospel teachings make sense to me, it "felt right". I now have purpose and direction in my life as I live "the plan of happiness" that our Heavenly Father has revealed through his living prophets. I am so excited to serve in my ward in a new program teaching ward members how they can share the gospel with others.
