Hi I'm Kirk

I was born in Provo, but raised in Tempe Arizona in The Lakes. I am second to last of 10 brothers and sisters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 6 children. We have 5 rabbits and 3 bee hives. My children range from 19 years old to 1 year old. We love to be in the outdoors. We camp, hike, ride 4 wheelers, Jeep, and play in the mountains. I have a finance degree from the University of Utah and a Masters from California State University Sacramento. I play saxophone, piano, guitar, and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young I read the scriptures, the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. I could feel something powerful in the words. In the scriptures there are invitations to ask God if they are true. I have followed that invitation, and by experiences directly related to my inquiry, I have received answers which give me knowledge that this is the true church. Anyone can read and ask. It is simple, and when you find the truth, your ability to find greater joy in life expands. It has done so for me, and hundreds of people that I have taught and invited to do the same.

How I live my faith

I have the privilege of working for the LDS Church in the Missionary Portfolio of Information Technology. I feel a strong responsibility to help others manage the sacred funds of the Church in bringing people to Christ. We go to church every Sunday, we serve our neighbors, we try to find people who are in need and do some kind of service for them. We try to prepare for situations that could be harmful by following the counsels of our leaders and the Prophet.
