Hi I'm Annie

I grew up in Virginia. I am an aspiring Physical Education Teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student studying Physical Education and Coaching with the hope of coaching Lacrosse and being a positive role model for kids of all ages. I love to be active, which is why my major is perfect for me because we get to play sports, go mountain biking and more for class! I am also happily married to my best friend. We were married on December 21st in the Salt Lake City Temple and it was, as clique as it sounds, the best day of my life. We are still enjoying our Newlywed phase and are excited to see what our future brings.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born in a strong family with great faith. My parents taught me the basics of the gospel and the taught me what it meant to live by faith. When I was younger and I had big decisions to make my parents taught me about prayer, fasting, and revelation. They gave me the tools to find answers to my questions. I was able to cultivate the testimony my parents had helped to plant and am still working on it today. I now can say that I know that this is Christ's gospel. He is the head of this church and He has appointed Prophets, seers, and revelators to help guide His gospel on earth today. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally and answers my prayers. I know that we have Temples on earth today where we can make covenants and receive blessings and guidance. I am extremely grateful for the blessing of Eternal Families that the Temple makes possible. Lastly, I know that my Savior lives and that His Atonement is real and all-encompassing.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are currently permanent substitute teachers in our ward. For the past couple weeks we have been able to teach the 9 year old class and we have loved it! It's exciting to see the kids learn and to see their faith at such a young age.
