Hi I'm Dallin Biorn

I grew up all over the U.S. and in England because my Dad was a fighter pilot. I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the son of an Air Force fighter pilot. I have lived in multiple places, ranging from Texas to England, because of my military background. I consider Oklahoma my home state but have only lived there a few years of my life. I recently graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. I played on the varsity football and basketball teams and was a member of my school's Student Council. I enjoy hunting and fishing, and anything else that can be done outdoors. I have 4 younger sisters and enjoy being a mentor to them in things like sports and school. I try to live life with a positive outlook and I enjoy meeting new people in each place I live. I am only a few days away from serving a mission for my church and I couldn't be more grateful for the family and friends that have supported me in my life. I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church serves as a rock in my life. I have learned my purpose in life through studying the Book of Mormon and The Bible. The teachings found therein provide a guideline to follow in life. I have had spiritual experiences and feelings in my life that I cannot deny. I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and have also been guided in my decisions by the Holy Ghost. I know that the prophet Joseph Smith was a true messenger of God. I recently was able to visit Carthage Jail, the location of Joseph's martyrdom, and was able to feel of the power of God while I was standing in the same room he spent his final days in. I also know that we have a living prophet today in Thomas S. Monson who gives the world guidance on how to live our lives in accordance with our Heavenly Father's teachings. I know that the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ is real. At a point in my life, I could feel myself headed down a wrong path. There was a year or two during high school that I wasn't sure I knew my Heavenly Father was still there for me. But I was wrong. I am here to testify to anyone reading this that Jesus Christ died for YOU because he loves YOU. He knew that taking on the sins of this world would be more difficult than anything ever accomplished on this Earth. But he knew it was the Father's plan, and by atoning for our sins he gave us the only way to make it back to our Heavenly Father. I would be a completely different person if it wasn't for the gospel in my life and I invite anyone reading this to continue searching for truth. Look around at what God has given us. Loving families, his word and commandments through scripture, the small tender mercies we receive daily, and most of all, his Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. Pray for answers you need and God will let you know through the gift of the Holy Ghost. I say this in Jesus' name. Amen.

How I live my faith

I am only a few days away from going on an LDS Mission. I have prepared my whole life to have the ability and opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father and I'm thankful to finally fulfill that dream. I have been a Mormon my entire life and the happiness and joy that my faith brings me is greater than anything else in my life. I was a president over kids my age as a youth when I was 13 and 15, and also got to serve as an assistant to my bishop at the age of 18. I've set up food drive volleyball tournaments in my community and have volunteered at 5k's to benefit the Wounded Warrior effort. I have done these things because of the influence Jesus Christ has had in my life. His love and charity towards me has driven me to want to give the same love and charity to others in my community.
