Hi I'm Tamara

I'm from Chile. I love sing and I'm Mormon! :)

About Me

I love to sing. I am the eldest sister of 3 beautiful girls, I love my family, I like to share my feelings with the people and I love to serve. My goals are: have a family, study in a university, and be a good mother. Jesus Christ is the centre of my life, He is my Joy and my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I born with parents that are members of the church, therefore I always came to the church with them, and I was happy so, but it was time to know for myself if the church and his teachings were true... Throughout my life I have had confirmation that everything in the gospel is true, but this came because I had a desire to know if the Church was true and also because I asked to our Heavenly Father if that was true. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is true, I believe that is the church of Jesus Christ, I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father lives (and they loves us). I'm a mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I know that the families are forever! I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Well. As a disciple of God, I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ every day. Every week, I learn how can I be more like my Savior with the other youth. In addition as a young I have the opportunity to know more about the scriptures with a program called "seminary", it is a wonderful program that give me the tools for the life and for my future. I learn more about Jesus Christ in my home, with my family, there , I learn how to serve and how the pure love is. I try to do everything is possible everyday to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ!

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

The Women don't hold the priesthood because they have the holy calling of be mother... The Lord trust so much in the women, that He give us the power to bring Their children. It's part of His program... The men have the priesthood and the women have the callings of mother Show more Show less

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

"every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood, with power to exercise its divine authority, and enjoy with his loved ones every blessing that flows therefrom, including the blessings of the temple." (Official Declaration- 2) There is no restriction! "Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life— Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?" Mosiah 18:9-10 If you have the desire of heart of being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and you are willing to being disciple of God, you have no restriction! Show more Show less
