Hi I'm Haylee

I am from a small town, I am a grateful daughter of God, I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love trying new things. In high school I tried cross country, volleyball, softball, track, business professionals of america, key club, and drama. I enjoy looking at photography and baking some yummy food for others. I love listening to an entertaining story or reading a good book. I have completed one year of college and I am now preparing to serve an 18 month LDS mission to Belém, Brazil. I have worked in an assisted living home for the past year and would like to find a career where I can continue to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. I have been raised in the church my whole life. Being a Mormon has shaped every aspect of my life. I choose to be an active member because I know that God lives. I know that Jesus Christ lived and died for us. He rose again and continues to live to help us back into His presence. I love my Savior and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is centered on the Savior and the atonement. I can't imagine going throughout life without the knowledge that there was a man who came to this earth, lived a perfect life, atoned for my sins, and died for me. He lived a selfless life and set the example of how we should live our lives for each of us. By striving to live as the Savior did, I am a better person. I am the happiest when I obey God's commandments, follow the Savior's example, and live worthy to have the Holy Ghost to guide me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively serving in my church. I am currently a teacher for the ladies in my ward. I accept what I am called to do willingly and strive to fulfill that calling to the best of my ability. I know that the Savior always put others before himself and served them. I am striving to follow in His footsteps.
