Hi I'm Ben

My wife and I are new empty nesters and busy professionals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of two daughters and a grandfather of two. That is something I love being, I only wish my grandkids were closer so I could see them more often. Family is very important to me, and growing up in the LDS church certainly had something to do with that. I enjoy the outdoors, golf, fantasy football, and grilling/smoking.

Why I am a Mormon

Since my whole family is Mormon, that may have been my answer to this as a young person. As we get older though, we all come to a point when we have to come to a decision of our own on what we believe and the path we will follow. After questioning things in my youth, I came to my own decision and my own testimony of the truthfullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the Book of Mormon. I've seen the fruits of living the gospel in my life and my family's life, and I can't deny that. I am far from perfect, and I know that I can always be forgiven if I repent. I am so thankfull for the knowledge I have of Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ and the plan of Salvation that I have gained through being and living as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been in the church my whole life and worked in many areas of the church over the years, and I think that is a blessing. Being able to serve in many jobs has helped me grow and I hope I have helped others too. Service is a huge part of the church, not only in the church, but in the communities we live in also, and I have be able to be involved in that also. I am currently working with the full-time missionaries in our area, and the members to coordinate their efforts of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is great being around these great young men and women who are dedicating up to two years of their life in this work.
