Hi I'm Joshua

I grew up in Alberta. I like to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in an LDS family. I am the seventh of nine children and I love it! I am grateful to be part of a big family. I have always had strong bonds with my siblings. For instance, my oldest brother and I are very much alike and we joke about this quite a lot! My older sister and I have always been the best of buddies! Every family reunion, we all love to come back home to see each other again and spend time together, playing games like Bananagrams, phase ten, soccer or my favourite is frisbee- but mostly talking and laughing! I grew up in a relatively small community, but I think it is the perfect size. Almost everybody knows everybody else. I feel very blessed to know the people which I do. I am continually being humbled as I feel more blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life. I watch each and every Sunday the goings ons of the Church; it's organization and it's beloved people whom I have come to know as brothers and sisters. I love the people. I love the feelings I receive as I study the scriptures and pray daily to my Heavenly Father and as I come to church every Sunday for all of my meetings and as I fulfill all of my duties to the best of my abilities... BECAUSE, I know and I live what I know.

How I live my faith

I have always felt good being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There is a peace that comes from my Savior as I kneel in prayer daily and thank him for the blessings of the day. As I learn each day to trust a little more, I feel more prepared to meet the challenges of life with HIS strength, because I know that he loves me. I know that he is not just a person in a story book, but a real live God who has lived on earth and who has loved the children of men and who will reign again on the earth and will continue to love the children of men henceforth and forever more. I know without a doubt that Jesus is the Christ! As I read of him in the scriptures daily I come to know him and as I study his works, I understand more fully his teachings and his doctrine. Especially in the Book of Mormon, there is a sweet spirit which will direct any truth-searching man to the truth which is contained therein and toward the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a Christian religion centered in the teachings and Atonement and belief in Jesus Christ. It is a Church restored by God the Father through his chosen Prophet, Joseph Smith in 1830. You can also know of the truth of not only my words which you read, but infinitely more importantly, of the truth of Jesus Christ and his life by praying to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and asking God directly of the truth of His words.
