Hi I'm Bill

I'm a PhD student in Civil Engineering at Clemson University. I am married and have three amazing children. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in the western United States and served a mission for the Church in Peru. I've always had a strong connection to the outdoors and have a love of learning new things. I'm not getting out as much as I want these days, because I am working on furthering my education. I moved my family across the country away from family and friends on a new adventure that would allow us all to grow and become better people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that God did restore his Gospel to the earth. I have had experiences that cause me to believe this way. I felt it as I read the Book of Mormon and as I prayed for guidance in my life. There are many other small experiences that add up to a knowledge that God lives and knows me and that He cares about his children here on earth. So much so that he sent Jesus Christ to pay the price for our mistakes. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday School teacher and teach a class of 14-18 year old young adults. The young men and women in my class are great examples of faith and honesty. They want to know about things that they may not have had explained well to them before and I make an effort to make sure that they learn as much as they want in my class.
