Hi I'm Zoey Boyd

I grew up in the Salt Lake valley. I'm a Disney fanatic, lover of music and the color yellow. I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a loving person and I talk to strangers! What makes me the most happy is spending time with my family & friends, dancing in the rain, painting, singing, hiking, and going on random adventures. Music and the gospel is what keeps me going in life :) I love the simple things, like watching turtles cross the road. I am the oldest of 3 children that belong to a mother who is my hero. My life has been forever changed by the decision I made to serve a mission. Georgia is my home away from home and ya'll is now a proper noun :)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I am a Mormon not because I was born in this faith but simply because I asked Heavenly Father if it was true and I felt through the Spirit that it was. I have come to know as I have gotten older that I am where He wants me to be as long as I stay on the path. This gospel is what makes me smile everyday. Jesus Christ is the light guiding me back home! I am grateful for all the evidence around me that this is His church. Everything that I have gone through in my life has molded and shaped me into the person that He wants me to be. Because of Jesus Christ I can live my life through His example :)

How I live my faith

The best way I can describe how I live my faith is words from a children's primary song... "We are covenant children with the gift to give. We will teach the gospel by the way we live. With each word and action we will testify. We believe and we serve Jesus Christ!" For me, actions speak louder than words. I live my faith by sharing my faith :) As a missionary I have learned that the way I can best serve others around me is by setting a good example, having Christ-like love (Charity) and telling them about what makes me the most happy in my life, and that is the gospel. With out it I would not have a relationship with my Father in Heaven and I would not be the person who I am today.
