Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up in Utah and was baptized at age 21. Learning about the Savior opened my life to great happiness and success.

About Me

I am a retired high school teacher and coach. (health, physical education, driver education) (baseball, basketball, golf) I like to fish, hunt birds, and golf. I enjoy camping with my wife and spending time with my children and grandchildren. Striving to follow the Savior and his teachings In "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" is the most important thing to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Around age (21) I started looking into "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". Friends invited me to different church things. I saw it help a friend through some very difficult times. I started attending church with him. Another past high school friend asked me if I would listen to the missionary lessons. I said yes. (I recommend them, they are short & taught at your convenience) I decided to be baptized, but then became confused and didn't know what to do. I prayed and asked Heavenly Father to help me and that I just wanted to do what was right. I did not recognize all his answers at that time but felt it was right to be baptized and did so. I then served a two year mission for "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". It was a great blessing for me to be able to help others learn about the Savior's teachings. I learned and grew also. Next I married and we raised 4 children. (I cannot say enough about my wonderful wife) Our children & grandchildren bring us joy. Having the Gospel of Jesus Christ helped our family have peace and happiness. It also helped us through our difficult times. We know the Atonement helps us be forgiven and also helps us to go through or accomplish anything we need to. I know Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost have guided & influenced me through my life. I have never doubted the Gospel. I have doubted myself at times, perhaps that is common. I know this is the way of Jesus Christ because I have lived it. (John 7:16-17) Adam had the truth. Jesus taught His truths. They were lost at his death. Jesus Christ's complete truth with prophets has been restored. There is much good in the world today. The adversary try's to keep people from the complete truth. "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" has all the truths the Savior wants us to have. Please do not be afraid to look into "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". May Heavenly Father bless us all to love and help each other!

How I live my faith

I try to be more Christ like in all I do each day. I am grateful for the Savior's Atonement as I make mistakes. I try never to hurt others. Mistakes happen teaching and coaching and in all parts of life. I cannot say enough how important prayer and studying scriptures each day are to me. They help lift me above all my worries and fears. Going to the Temples of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" also provides a great strength and protection. I know this blesses all my family also. Serving others also blesses our lives, I try to uplift others. I have helped with adult and youth activities in "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". Sometimes we have opportunities to help in large ways and we always have small ways to lift and help others. My wife and I look forward to serving missions for "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". I am most grateful for my family, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. I try to be obedient to Heavenly Father above all else in life. I cannot say how much I love them and my family. Along with obedience I try to love and help my family above all other things. I am so grateful for them and the time I have with them. Life is also to have fun. I am a serious type person, but enjoy having fun in my hobbies and so forth. I
