Hi I'm Debra

I love to quilt. I love to run I love to see the world, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four. Pickle-ball has become a recent hobbie for my husband and I. We li in St. George where its hot hot hot and we love it. Each morning I walk the dog after my five mile run. I take a quilting class, and it keeps me really busy since all the children have now left the house. I have two kids at BYU, one in Salt Lake City, and one serving a mission in Samoa for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

The teachings of the mormon church help me to have direction and hope for a lifetime of happiness. I have a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ and his divine sacrifice which enables me to live with my family together forever.

How I live my faith

The Temple for me is a source of peace. I volunteer there weekly, and love to give service to those that come to worship in the Lords house. Once a month I have the opportunity to teach the lesson on Sunday to the sisters in my congregation ages 18 and older. We focus on gospel topics that help us improve our relationships with our families and loved ones, and help us know how to fulfill our role as women in the church.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Debra
I have three sons, one served in Charleston, West Virginia, another served in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, and my youngest is currently serving in Apia, Samoa. They serve because they want to share the plan of happiness, because the gospel has brought them much peace and happiness in their lives. The gospel answers the questions of why we are here, where we came from, and where we are going. The message of the gospel brings those who are searching for answers to these questions the pea.e and happiness that we have felt in our home. Show more Show less
