Hi I'm Michelle Liu

I'm currently a student at BYU- Provo. I was born and raised in California :) I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of three kids, and I grew up in sunny California spending most of my time dancing. I'm currently a Dance Education major at BYU- Provo. I report to the Provo MTC on January 7, 2015 and I will be serving in the Taiwan Taichung Mission. I can not wait to serve the Lord and the people of Taiwan :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am so blessed to of been raised in the church since the day I was born. Both my parents are converts. They were both born in Taiwan and came to the United States for their master degree. My mom visited temple square on a trip, met the missionaries, and got baptized shortly after. She introduced the missionaries to my dad, who got baptized half year later. They got married and then had me :) My parents brought me to church every week but they never forced me to go. It has always been my choice to go to church every single week. I am a Mormon because this gospel makes me so happy. I don't know where I would be in life without it. The church has blessed me immensely, and I will be forever grateful to of been born into such a loving family. The gospel means everything to me, and that is why I have chosen to serve a full time mission.

How I live my faith

I am currently a relief society teacher in my YSA ward here at BYU. Over the summer, I was in another YSA ward and served as the relief society president. These callings have taught me how to love others unconditionally, and constantly serve others. In January, I will be headed on my mission. I will be living my faith as I serve the Lord on a full time mission in Taiwan. I love this gospel, and I know that by living it I am truly blessed.
