Hi I'm Morgan

I'm a student, bad dancer, and lover of EDM. I'm also a mormon.

About Me

Right now I am just living the typical young adult life. Just finished one semester at BYU-Idaho studying Psychology and Human Behavior and loved it. I had a great experience there. I am soon leaving on a two-year mission to Iowa, and am preparing myself like crazy! In my spare time (when I'm not working) I really enjoy listening to EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Whether it be House, Dubstep, Trance, DnB, Glitch Hop, Hardcore etc. I love it all. I also enjoy some hip-hop and trip-hop on the side (I LOVE nujabes). I also am a bedroom DJ where I make my own little mixes of songs I pick up, it's good fun. I could do it for hours. I also am learning to play the piano in my spare time and have become fairly good at it. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, playing sports, and doing religious studies. I have taken classes studying all major religions of the world and it has been a very uplifting experience. Truly God gives light and truth to whomever seeks it. Other than that, just another man trying to work his way through the roller coaster of life.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I did grow up in the church, and have had the blessing of loving parents who cared enough to teach me in all that is good and to hold high standards for myself. I am very grateful for that. So I guess you could say I was raised a "cultural mormon", growing up in Utah valley in an area where 80% of the members of the community were church-goers. As a kid I went to church because it was what everyone else did and it was the right thing to do. HOWEVER As I grew and matured, I had to find out for myself what was true. After reading through the Book of Mormon several times, I have had the Holy Spirit witness to me that it is indeed the word of God. I can honestly say no book has brought me closer to God than the Book of Mormon. It's teachings and revelations are devine. You can feel God communicating to you personally as you go

How I live my faith

Right now I'm just trying to focus on the basics. Scripture study, church attendance, religious studies, loving god, loving neighbors, speaking kindly, no lying, learning, teaching, uplifting, and ESPECIALLY service to others. These things alone keep me on my toes for the time being. Just another man trying to do what I know is right. I tell you it's tough some days.
