Hi I'm Hannah

I love the outdoors, music, baking, sports, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 6, and a very busy young women! I love being involved in my community, church, work and school. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, especially reptiles. I even have two iguanas of my own. I love sports, and actually helped create my communities first girls youth rugby team. I am kinda a nerd at times, for example I could go on about Lord of the Rings for hours and tell you all about when I met Sean Astin and Billy Boyd. I am currently balancing two jobs working 65 hour weeks while preparing to Serve a full time mission, and loving every moment of it. Free time is limited but as I get closer to the time I leave for my mission, the more I study my scriptures, the closer I get to my Father in Heaven and the happier I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I cant imagine life without this beautiful gospel. I am not a convert, but I still can remember the time that I was actually converted. I grew up with the gospel in my life but it wasn't until I was older that I really realized the choices I would have to be making. When I was 14 I was having a really hard time with my family, school work, and friends. I didn't feel like I belonged at all and I felt completely alone. That is when I decided to turn to the lord. I applied all the things I had always been taught where right but felt like I was young and didn't really have to do them. I prayed to heavenly father, pleaded for help. I read my scriptures and tried my hardest to live all his commandments. At first it was a change, it was hard, but soon I didn't feel alone, I didn't feel like an outcast, I was able to handle the things life was throwing at me. This is just the first of many times the teachings of the gospel helped me through a tough situation and now I cant imagine going back. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints and I know it is the only true church. No one expects us to be perfect but as we try we can and will be helped through tough times.

How I live my faith

Growing up I was always involved in my ward. I would go visit people in my ward and help them with whatever they where struggling with. I have always loved getting to know new people in the ward, helping them, and seeing them gain that comfort and feeling of belonging. I am currently Serving as a Ward Missionary where it is my job to visit/ check up on those we haven't seen at church in awhile. I was extremely happy when I received this calling because it is something I had already been doing and loved to do.
