Hi I'm Aneishah Perry

I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I'm 20 years old, I love comedies, chick flicks and musicals. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 20 years old. Currently working and trying to figure which direction to go in, however I know that I would love to be a social worker, hoping to start that program in September 2015. I have many people in my life that I care deeply for and they care deeply for me. I love to have a good time. Just living life the way I was meant to. If you had to say something that I'm passionate about is cooking. I absolutely love to cook. I have many different hobbies. So many awesome and fun things to do! :) it's hard to pick just one favorite activity.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it has helped me become a better person. It has given me the opportunity to expand my talents and to meet so many wonderful people. I'm a Mormon because it gives me this happiness and this peace that I feel constantly. It has helped me to develop spiritually and emotionally. It has given me this confidence I've never had before. It keeps me sane in all the bad times. It lets me know that no matter what things will be okay. Being a Mormon makes me want to be better, to make better choices. I feel a great comfort knowing that there is always someone who will be there for me. That's it's okay to make mistakes. Knowing that I don't have to be perfect to live this gospel. I love the overall closeness of the church and the people within it. It does not matter who you are, you're always welcomed and loved. You really get to know each other. I love all the different programs and how beneficial they are. I'm a Mormon because I love it, it's a part of me that I will cherish. I know that without this church I would not be where I am today, I would not be doing what I'm doing. Being a Mormon has given me so much perspective. I love everything about this gospel and I am so blessed to be a part of it. Words cannot describe how many times the church has been there for me in my darkest hour. I was inactive for a very long time after I was baptized and things were completely different.I would have never imagined my life to be like this 4 years ago. I know that in continuing to stay active in the church I will continue to receive blessings, continue to do good, and to continue being happy. I'm so grateful for every other Mormon in my life whether it's missionaries, friends, family. I know that we have prophets on our earth today to guide us. IM A MORMON, I KNOW IT, I LIVE IT, I LOVE IT.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my meetings every Sunday, being worthy of partaking the sacrament each week. Currently serving in the welfare committee of the Millcreek YSA ward. I diligently attend my institute classes each week and go to as many activities as possible. I love missionary work and help bringing others into Christ. I'm currently working with a friend who has been to several of the activities as well as many church meetings. She even had the opportunity to go to a mission farewell last Sunday. I pay 10% of my earnings towards tithings and a small portion as well to the fast offerings. I have seen my life change in so many ways because of it. I work with the full time missionaries in my ward, whether it's participating with them in a lesson, simply inviting them over for meal appointments or sharing a spiritual thought with me. I also stay worthy of a temple recommend so I can attend the temple regularly. I surround myself with positive people that share the same standards and values as me.
