Hi I'm Matt Halpain

I served a mission in 1995 Manchester, England. I have schizophrenia. I volunteer at the Bishop' store house.

About Me

I am 39 years old (2014). I have a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have schizophrenia. I volunteer at the Bishop's store house. I love volunteering at the Bishop's store house. I like to draw. I served a mission in Manchester, England in 1995.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith. I was baptized when I was 8 years old into the Mormon faith. I have a testimony of the restored Gospel. Recently I have found I love to go to the MountLake Terrace Genealogy building. I love the Temple. I love the 12 Apostles. I love Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. In each phase of my life I become a new member again and see what it is like being a member in the light and perspective of my age. I loved young single adults when I was younger. I am looking forward to attend more single adult activities.

How I live my faith

Volunteering at the Bishop's store house has really helped me to be a better person. I work along side faithful pillars or people that also volunteer there time at the Bishop's store house. The Bishop's store house is a ware house of food items that are payed for by fast offerings or donations of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Are Mormons Christians?

Matt Halpain
Some think Mormon's are not Christian since we believe in the Book of Mormon and other canonized scripture in the Mormon faith. I have read the entire Book of Mormon and to me it centers on Jesus Christ and his doctrine. Only through Jesus Christ can a person be saved. Show more Show less
