Hi I'm Nani

I grew up in The Kingdom of Tonga which is known as the Friendly Island. I am serving in Idaho Pocatello Mission & I'm a Mormon:)

About Me

I went to Saineha High School before and now I'm serving a full time mission in Idaho Pocatello. I love being around my 6 brothers, joking and having FUNN..I also like making friends and love to make people happy especially my family.I love food especially potatoes. I also love to play volleyball and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in "The church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saint". Both of my parents were converted to the church and I love them. I'm so grateful that I grew up in a goodly parents. They thought me the important of going to church every Sunday & participate in church activities etc. I gain my own testimony about the church. I came to know that God is real. He loves us soo much and He want all of us back to him. He send His beloved son Jesus Christ here on earth to perform the Atonement for us and He make it possible for all of God children to be able to return to Him again. One thing that I love about the church of Jesus Christ is family. I love my family so much. Friends can come and go but family will never let you go even though not all of us came from a perfect family but still. I decided to go on a Mission because of the fact that I know family is one of God's plan. God want us to have joy in this life through family. I know that the Book of Mormon is the another testimony of Jesus Christ. God loves all of His children here on Earth and I don't know why and understand, If God will not let his son Jesus Christ visit to the people in the book of Mormon? God see things that we didn't see it and He know things that we don't know of. I knew this to be true because I follow what prophet Joseph Smith did is to ask of God like in the book of James1:5 direct. God promise us He will answer our prayers in His own time and in His own will but us is to be patient and obedience to His commandments. I love this Gospel so much, I don't know where would I'd be without this Gospel in my life, it's change my life and I know that it will change your life as well. I know God live and I know I will see Him again. I know that Jesus is my brother. He is my Savior and my Redeemer. I know that He loves me and He know us by name. I do my best here on earth to make my Father in Heaven proud of me and I share my testimonies with yall in the name of Jesus Christ AMEN.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church and follow the teaching of all God's prophets in the scriptures. I can do my best to help others and serve them like what Jesus did because He is my great exemplar. God doesn't ask us to do something that is impossible. He knew that it's going to be hard but Worth It! Just get out and Do It!! and that's how I live my Faith. I'm sure that nobody is ready for a new calling in the church but I want to let all of you know that God choose the unlikely one and has been chosen to stand up and help build up His Kingdom here on earth, it's going to be hard but worth it.He knows us better than we know our self.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Nani
Prophet Alma in the Book of Mormon compared faith to a seed. If you plant a seed and nourish it, if it is a good seed it will grow and eventually bear fruit. In the Bible said faith without work is dead so technically the word faith is works and actions, stand up and do something like reading the scriptures, prayers daily. Going to church etc like what you suppose to be then your faith will increase and progressing. Show more Show less
