Hi I'm Joshua Mataalii

I'm a wrestler, a Smash Bros. player, I love comics, I love to draw, and I'm serving in the Colorado Denver South Mission!

About Me

I love drawing its one of my biggest hobbies. My favorite sport is wrestling. I also love watching movies and enjoy spending my time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

For a little short of time I wandered. I was born of goodly parents who did there best on teaching us how to live Christ like living. I was baptized at the age of 8, and was promised that I would feel the Holy Ghost. But I never did. By the time high school came I found the church to be really boring, and I did not understand the doctrine that was being taught. I didn't understand who God was nor did I understand the importance of Jesus Christ dying for us. So I stood idle every Sunday, feeling I was forced to attend every meeting. I saw it as a waist of time. When the second year of high school came, I saw that I wasn't happy and felt like I was missing something. One Sunday I was given a scripture found in the first chapter of James saying ..."If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." I came to the conclusion that I would have to ask God why has my life at the time been so miserable. So for the first time, I prayed to God sincerely about all the problems I had and all the sins I had committed, and I'm not sure if it were a figment of my imagination but I had a vision. This vision that was made known unto me made me realize that there was a God and that Jesus Christ does love us. I then realized at that time I had received a testimony of our lord and savior and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints is the true church again established here on earth today. I also bare testimony that by the holy ghost it has been known unto me that the Holy Bible along with the companionship of the Book of Mormon are the word of God and cannot be broken or be moved. In his sacred name, even Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out with the missionaries helping them do the lord's work. I bare my testimony every fast sunday to motivate the youth of the church and to help others that are lacking faith. Another way I live my faith is by being an example to my friends by not drinking any alcohol, drugs, or using any type of profane language. But one of the most important things I do to live in faith is reading my scriptures and praying everyday.
