Hi I'm Beth Peterson

I'm 19 years old. I love fruit snacks, my dog, and making jewelry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I love fruit snacks and orange juice. I could probably survive on just those things (and cookie dough of course). I love to make jewelry! I have been doing it ever since my parents gave me some beads and tools for Christmas when I was 14. Now, it has become my passion, and a business. I was home schooled for most of my life with my three siblings. I love my family!! The outdoors is my favorite place to be; whether its hiking, running, biking, or sitting at a park, you name it! I have a little miniature Shi Tzu named Heidi. I love her to pieces. She follows me around like a shadow, and sleeps on my pillow every night. I love singing, the color pink, boots, Gerber daisies, smiling, laughing and leaning.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole. I know God lives! I am His daughter. He loves us so very much. The evidence is everywhere. From the words and testimonies in the scriptures, to the beautiful change in seasons. Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross for us. I am eternally indebted. How grateful I am for his hand in my life. He has truly led me by the hand to be where I am today. He is my Savior and friend. I love him with all my heart, and oh how I need him. Temples are the house of God. They are essential to the Plan of Salvation. How blessed we are to know that we can do the work for our dead there, and to be sealed so we can be with our families FOREVER! I love my family! How grateful I am for that eternal unit. God knew what he was doing when he placed us in families. I look forward to the day I will have one of my own. GOD HEARS AND ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS. The scriptures are the word of God. I love them with all my heart. I feel such peace and guidance when I read them. Trials are gifts from God! If we let Him, He will shape us into the person we are meant to become. I KNOW these things are true. I have no doubt. I wish to stand on the rooftops to tell the world!! Because THIS is the source of my happiness. My true joy. This is Why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Everyday I start my day off by saying my prayers, and studying the scriptures. Doing this gives me a sort of boost for the day, and fills me with peace and God's love for me. Weekly I set goals and have them hanging in my room so I can see them and constantly be working to them. They include long term goals like, get married in the temple and have a family, and short term goals like, attend church functions. God wants us to seek to keep order in our lives, and this is the best way for me. I love going to church functions! I am apart of a ward for young adults, and we have church every Sunday, and activities every week that I always go to. At church I help teach the other women, as well as visit members in the ward.
