Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in Utah and now work as an engineer. I'm a husband, I'm a father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served a mission in Japan and loved it. I graduated from the University of Utah (Go Utes!) with an Engineering degree. I met my wonderful wife and we have a son who is an absolute stud. Hopefully there are more children in our future because being a dad is the best. I enjoy competing in triathlons and anything outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a conviction that the full gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth, and when I live it I am happy. It has brought me the peace I needed during trials of losing a child, a mother, and a sister because through the restored gospel I understand the eternal nature of family relationships and the plan Heavenly Father has for each of us. I am a Mormon because I truly believe that "by their fruits ye shall know them", and the humanitarian aid, service, and influence for good of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are amazing "fruits".

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon has provided me with so many opportunities for service among fellow church members and in the communities I've lived in. The structured programs as well as the numerous spontaneous opportunities to serve give me the chance to put my beliefs in action and attempt to serve in some small way as the Master served.
