Hi I'm Warren O. Merrill

I was born and live in beautiful Idaho. I am a husband, father and grandfather, a gentle caring soul and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm, driving tractors by the time I was about 5 or 6. As I grew I also worked in a cemetery filling graves and in a grocery store. At 26 years old with a wife and three kids I returned to college and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. For the past 26 years I've created software and now build and maintain web sites. I love to make custom pens from exotic woods and I'm very active in a local club of collectors. I love to read books, especially science fiction from Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury and Arthur C. Clarke. I love older movies with James Stewart, Cary Grant, Bob Hope and Danny Kaye. My favorite movies of all time are Ben Hur and Sparticus. I have four children and two beautiful granddaughters. I'm grateful for having numerous spiritual gifts and have been drawn to learn Christ centered energy healing using Reiki. I love helping others and being an instrument of peace and healing for Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a home that did not discuss religion or spirituality. At 16 I became friends with a young couple that lived nearby and as we talked he introduced the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the LDS faith to me. It seemed so natural for me. Everything I was taught was like hearing something that I already knew was true. I was baptized in the spring of my 16th year and have been a member since that time. I'm a Mormon because I feel the companionship of Jesus Christ in my life, the love he has for me and his strong desire that I live my life so that I may return to my Heavenly Father some day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by speaking with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ every day through prayer and meditation. I live my faith by treating others as I would want to be treated. I live my faith by remembering every day that I am a child of God, a literal spark of the Divine in earthly form. I live my faith by caring about my fellow man as if they were my family.
