Hi I'm Brittnee White

I grew up in St. George Utah. I just got out of high school. I work at a furniture store. I love little kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family very much. My dream is to travel the world. I love to go on hikes. I also dream of being an author and have written a 300 page fantasy novel. In a few years I hope to do some humanitarian work in India or South America.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ has given me more happiness in my life than anything else. I know with all my heart that God loves me. I feel it. I know that God loves and knows all of us personally and wants to help us. In moments of stress I love how I can always go to my knees and ask him for help. And I feel peace. A few days ago I was feeling scared and nervous because I'll be moving to Ohio and won't be seeing my family again for eighteen months. I wasn't sure if I could do it. I knelt down on my knees and asked God if he believed in me. I felt a fire in my heart and such joy as I have never felt in my entire life. That's why I live my faith. It gives me comfort to know I can have such a personal relationship with God. The church that was on the earth when Christ walked among men has been restored on the earth again. There is a true prophet on the earth today and God talks to him. I can feel it every time I hear him speak. I have read the Book of Mormon and it has brought me closer to Christ. It is the story of the people who lived in Ancient America. Christ appeared to them. God loves all his children. I have asked God if this church is true, and I received an answer.

How I live my faith

Living my belief to me means I love and serve others, no matter who they are, no matter what choices they've made. It means I try to think of others before myself, even when I'm having a stressful day. I am not perfect at it, but I try. It's what Christ would do. I want to be like him. I also teach six and seven year old children about Christ and his gospel every week in church. It is my joy. I love it so much. My mom and I also go and visit and teach a few ladies in my ward every month. We see how they've been and try to do service for them and help them as best as we can. In a month I will be leaving on a mission to teach others about the gospel and serve as many people as I can.
