Hi I'm Krystal

I grew up in California. I am an ER nurse and I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. I currently work as a Registered Nurse in the ER. I love sports, the outdoors, traveling and anything to do with the water. I played Rugby in college and I currently hike, run, camp, and free dive/scuba dive any chance I get. I served a mission for 19 months in Texas and New Mexico and loved every minute of it. Serving my Savior by serving others and sharing His gospel with them has never made me happier!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the blessings I have seen in my life as I have lived the gospel. I feel blessings of peace as I pray and read the scriptures. There is happiness in my family because we obey the commandments and strive to live our faith. I have found answers to life’s questions through this church; I know my purpose. I have found completeness through this restored gospel. God has called prophets and apostles throughout time to guide and teach His children on earth because he loves us. The LDS church has the much-needed guidance of a Prophet and 12 apostles, just as Christ organized His church and intended it to be when He was on the earth (Ephesians 2:20).

How I live my faith

I believe living your religion is more than just going to church on Sundays. I live my faith by striving to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ each day. I seek to be honest, kind, and helpful. I read the scriptures and pray to receive guidance and to develop a relationship with God. I seek opportunities to serve others, because I believe we serve God by serving His children (Mosiah 2:17). In this church nobody is paid for what they do, not even the Bishop. So I live my faith by serving in my church and teaching Sunday school classes.
