Hi I'm Emily

I'm a wife, a mommy, and a food enthusiast. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud stay-at-home mom. I am so blessed to be able to see my son grow each and every day. I love to read pretty much any books that uplift and inspire me. Being at home has also rekindled my love of food and cooking. I have been learning more about nutrition because of this. I believe my body is a temple and following the Word of Wisdom is truly important to me. I know I will be able to do the Lords work more vigilantly if I keep my body clean and healthy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe with my whole heart, might, mind and strength that it is true. I was born into the church, my parents were converts. Some may say because I was brought up as a member that's why I have stayed a member. But it wasn't always that way. I went off on my own at one point to see what the world had to offer. But once I did that, I have never been more miserable and unhappy in my life. I rediscovered the straight and narrow path, and my joy in living the Gospel has increased beyond compare. It continues to grow through my daily prayer and scripture study. The Lord loves his children. He wants us to have joy more than anything in the world, and that pure joy, that pure love of Christ can be found at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have a position in my ward where I teach children about the gospel, and it is such a wonderful work. Their sweet testimonies strengthen mine every Sunday. They know they are all children of a loving Heavenly Father, and they strive so hard to follow the commandments to the best of their abilities.
