Hi I'm Jacob

I am born and raise in Utah. I am student at BYU and I am a child of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest boy in my family and I have three older sisters. I have been born of goodly parents. I enjoy playing all types of sports and being in the outdoors. I did golf for all four years of high school and I did track, cross country, and some soccer in high school as well. I am a student at Brigham Young university and I am going into the business program there with a math minor as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so proud to be a Mormon. The gospel brings me so much direction, light, happiness, and clarity in life in this tough world. Without the gospel I would be lost, without hope in this life. Being a Mormon helps brings out the best in me as I am always striving to be better and perfect myself. When times are getting rough and I am feeling really stressed or down, my testimony and faith really helps me keep strong. Just knowing that we have a father in heaven who is always watching us and knows what it is best for us is really encouraging. I also know that our Savior Jesus Christ suffered every weakness, hardship, trial, burden, and sin in the Garden in Gethsemane so if we rely on him and have faith in him he will be there for us and strengthen us. This knowledge has immensely helped me out and every time I read the scriptures or go to the church and I am able to feel the spirit and be edified. The gospel is my life, light, and direction. So that's why I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I participate in my ward by volunteering for service activities such as cleaning the church or going to a rest home and I help administer church ordinances like the sacrament. I do home teaching to members in my ward by visiting or serving members in the ward and leaving brief messages. I also live my faith by doing the most simple and important things every single day such as studying the scriptures and praying.
