Hi I'm Sally

I'm a wife and a mom. I'm a new student. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a very small community in Northern Utah. I'm married and have six children and one granddaughter. One of my sons and one of my daughters are currently serving missions for the LDS church. I was recently laid off work and so decided to go to school to gain some new skills. I play the piano and guitar and love music. Especially when I play with my family. I also love to create things and them give them away as gifts. Sewing, crochet, knit, bake. If it's a craft, I'll try it! I love to read and spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. Throughout my life I have had many experiences that have confirmed the truth of the Church to me. By having the gift of the Holy Ghost I can receive a knowledge of the truth of all things. As I look at the world around me, I know that it was created by a loving Heavenly Father. There are so many beauties to enjoy. When I am living the gospel the best I can is when I am happiest. When I attend Church meetings, I can feel the Spirit. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore this church. I am so glad that I have that knowledge. I have peace and joy because of my membership in His true church.

How I live my faith

I try to live the gospel every day. I serve the youth in our area. I love being around them. Their faith in Jesus Christ really shows as they meet together. We meet on Sunday mornings for gospel lessons and Tuesday evenings we have activities that strengthen their testimonies. I know that everyone on the earth is a child of our Heavenly Father. This knowledge helps me to love others and serve them. As I go about my day, I try to treat others as He would. As I study the scriptures, I can find things that teach me what I need to change about myself. My faith in Jesus Christ helps me to know that all things are possible with Him. When I have challenges in my life, I know I can turn to the Savior for help.
