Hi I'm Mary

I am a college student, I love teaching and spending time with little kids, and I love hiking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying business and early childhood education. I am a substitute teacher in an early childhood center where I love to hang out with little kiddos all day! I love hiking because I have a purpose to get somewhere and it is almost always rewarding - a beautiful view of a valley, lake, waterfall, or something else! I also love traveling to anywhere and everywhere. There is so much in the world that I want to see! I am a great road tripper but I also like to fly!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. This gospel brings me more joy and happiness than any thing else ever could. When I am sad, Heavenly Father hears my prayers and He comforts me. When I am happy, I know that He is happy with me and I rejoice in Him - for He is the source of my happiness. When I feel any way at all, I know that Jesus has felt the exact same way as me and that He is always here for me, I am never alone. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ so much, and I know that They love me because I can feel it constantly. I am a Mormon because this gospel makes sense to me. I know that God and Jesus created this Earth so that we may live here to gain immortality. I want nothing more than to live with Them again so I will try my hardest to live in a way that I am worthy for eternal life and exaltation. I am a Mormon because I believe that families are forever. I want to be with my family for all eternity. I believe in eternal love and the power of temple ordinances. I can't wait to have a family of my own that I can be with eternally. I am a Mormon because I know it is the truth.

How I live my faith

I am a sunbeam teacher (teaching the 3 and 4 year olds about the gospel). I love it! Teaching the basics of the gospel to these sweet children builds my testimony every week. The kids soak in everything I teach them and they can be constantly reminded that they are a child of God, and He loves them unconditionally. I am blessed to be a part of helping these kids to learn about Jesus and how to follow His teachings.
