Hi I'm Brady

I'm a pretty simple guy. Studied computer science at BYU Idaho. Currently serving a mission in Santa Fe, Argentina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of six kids. I have four brothers and one baby sister. I went to Juanita High School where I was a very active participant in school activities and events. I got on ASB as soon as I could so I could try and help the school in any way that I could. I played varsity football and soccer which helped me mingle with fellow students and I enjoyed being in the spotlight on Friday nights. I think this is what made me the person that I am... I am one of those kids who loved high school and never really wanted to leave. I was so sad to graduate and leave behind my friends that I had grown so close too.

Why I am a Mormon

I simply love my life when I am following the teachings to the Savior. Reading the Book of Mormon gives me hope and happiness. There is nothing quite like the feeling that you are doing everything the way that God wants us to. I could never leave that. Even when I make mistakes, I know that I can make it right with myself and my Heavenly Father. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

How I live my faith

At my school I was probably one of ten kids that were LDS. I met many people who's beliefs and interests conflicted with mine and that made high school very hard for me. I found that the only way for me to still be myself and also maintain frendships was to love the people that I met, regardless of our different views of life. Most of my friends are Catholic and Christian. It didn't take long for me to find myself learning a lot from them. I realized that we are all so alike. Even though we go to different churches and believe in some different things, the roots are all so similar. I was able to listen to them and learn from them, and in turn they were able to learn from me. I even invited them all to church and they really enjoyed their experience and I was able to see them learn and understand what the Mormon church is about. It made me proud to be Mormon and proud of my testimony and I know that my friends got a glimpse of how being Mormon has shaped my life. Now I am serving a mission for the church and I am so excited about the opportunity to teach God's children about how we can return to live with him again, and how we can have happiness in our lives.
