Hi I'm Julie

I am married to a supportive man. I have a cute spunky dog named eddie. I love to create with art and crafts, and I am a mormon.

About Me

I am creative. I love to crochet stuffed elephants and give them to family and friends. I love to paint and draw in art, mostly my drawings are flat and two dimensional but I like them. I love to write childrens poems that are light hearted and funny. I love to write stories. I love to sew and crochet blankets. I love rainbows they make me happy. I love animals and wish I could adopt bears, elephants, and penguins from animal foundations. I'm not always perfect at it but I try to have a positive outlook on life and strive for growth and development.

Why I am a Mormon

Once in my life I thought I didn't want to be a mormon, that I was missing out on what the world had to offer. I was wholly wrong. I am mormon because it is a piece in my life that fills and completes me. Being mormon keeps me safe from traps in the world that might seem appealing at first but leaves you empty later. I am mormon because all of the teachings are true and do nothing except uplift and bring us closer to Heavenly Father who eagerly holds out his hand for us to take hold. I am a mormon because it gives direction in life of who we are and where we are going with our choices. I am mormon because of the hope and truth that families can be together forever and that the resurrection takes away the sting of death and separation from families, through Christ's loving infinite atonement.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being kind to people. I live my faith by being honest. I live my faith by believing in the prophet Joseph Smith, and by believing in Thomas S Monson and his twelve apostles. I live my faith by believing and relying on cherished priesthood blessings when needed. I live my faith by reading lesson manuals and applying the personal things I learn and that touch my heart. I live my faith by reading scriptures and conference talks. I live my faith by singing church hymns when I feel sad. I live my faith by trying to live honorably, and having the spirit of the holy ghost around so I can have peace in life. I live my faith by believing in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
