Hi I'm Marley

I was born and raised in Idaho. I am currently going to college as a full time student and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school and am now attending a university. I love to excel in my studies but also have a great desire to meet new people and try new things. I plan on serving a LDS mission after my first year of college. I like to be outside and stay active. Activities that I enjoy include rock climbing, hiking, volley ball, zumba, yoga, wake boarding, snowboarding, and long-boarding. Although I love staying active and physically fit, I also have a passion for the visual arts. I've been drawing every since I can remember and have been working toward developing these talents for the past 6 years.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many members of the LDS church, I was raised up in the church because my parents were already members when I was born. At the age of eight I made the decision to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There was no exact moment that converted me to the gospel or to believe what I do, its the small tender mercies that God grants to me everyday, and the love and peace I feel through the Holy Spirit. It's the happiness that the gospel brings into my life that gives me the desire to continue following Christ's example and to share what I know with others.

How I live my faith

With the help of the atonement, I can be made beautiful even with the flaws I possess. My sins and imperfections can be polished to make me who I am ought to become like dark veins in a marble egg. The veins cannot be removed but they can be polished to add visual appeal to the egg. My imperfections cannot become anything more unless I am willing to use the atonement to polish them.
