Hi I'm Alyssa

I grew up in Utah, went to a year at the University of Utah in SLC, and am now serving a mission in Belgium and the Netherlands.

About Me

I used to be a cheerleader and I played golf as well but only in High school. After I graduated I attended the U of U and studied business/marketing. I have 4 siblings and all 3 of my brothers served missions in a different part of the world. We will all speak a different language as well! My sister has a baby and my mom teaches piano while my dad sells cars.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church, however I found my own testimony of this church when I left for college. I believed it and I knew that making the right choices and staying active in the church would benefit me way more than partying or not going to church ever would. I love learning about the gospel and reading my scriptures! It's all so interesting to me. When I decided to serve a Mission I became a lot more active in the ward family and wanted to keep feeling the amazing spirit that had stayed with me throughout my first year of college. I love this church and the blessings it brings into my life.

How I live my faith

I was called to be in the mingles committee which is pretty common in a student ward, but when i decided to serve a mission I was called as a primary teacher in my home ward. I taught the 7-8 year olds and I loved it so much! Kids have the best testimonies.
