Hi I'm Peggy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a child I lived in Washington state. I enjoyed hop scotch, jumping rope, coloring, and singing. I had a blue bike that I rode everywhere. I have pleasant memories of pear trees, walnut trees, apple trees and wild berries. My husband and I have four children, four grandchildren and two great granddaughters. We have been married for twenty years. Some activities I enjoy are: shopping, traveling, and watching movies at home with my husband. For exercise I walk on the track at the community gym. Now, I live in Utah. I have been here for thirteen years. We have beautiful mountains and temples. A wonderful site is the mothers shopping with their babies and young children.

Why I am a Mormon

I received my testimony of the gospel while studying the Book of Mormon at Brigham Young University. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. My favorite scripture is: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not parish, but have everlasting life." John 3: 17. When I was in the third grade a special friend taught me how to pray. This has been a comfort and a strength to me throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I am active in doing indexing. Indexing is a service that puts family records on the internet. This information assists individuals who are searching for their ancestors on FamilySearch.org.
