Hi I'm Michael Felt

I am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the California, San Jose mission speaking Spanish

About Me

I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. I moved to Dallas, Texas half way through my teenage years. Jesus Christ is my rock. Without him, I am nothing. He is my savior, my redeemer, my brother, and I am his servant. My goal in this life is to serve Him and try my absolute best to become like Him. My family means the world to me. I have two beautiful sisters and two incredible brothers. They're without a doubt my best friends. I absolutely love sports. I played basketball and ran track in high school. I love hanging out with friends and doing crazy things. I love sunrises and sunsets. I absolutely love adventure, being outdoors, trying new things, and traveling. I like to live by the life quote: "To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life". I love being around kids. I am currently on a magnificent journey. I am a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, teaching in the Spanish language. I couldn't be happier.

Why I am a Mormon

The reasons of being a Mormon are endless. The eternal blessing can go on forever. I had the privilege of being born and raised in the church. There came a time in my life when I realized I needed to figure out for myself if these things were true. I prayed and read the holy scriptures, asking my Heavenly Father, with real intent, if these things are true. The feelings I got cannot be described. My Heavenly Father, through the power of the Holy Ghost, manifested the truths unto me time and time again. We talk to Him through prayer, and He speaks to us through the scriptures and by a modern day prophet and apostles. I owe all my happiness to this gospel. I cannot even begin to describe the joy it brings. I know that this is the exact same church that Jesus Christ himself established when He was on the earth and it is the only true way back to our Heavenly Fathers presence. I know with all my heart that the prophet Joseph Smith saw God the eternal father and His son Jesus Christ, and during that moment, the world changed. The windows of Heaven were opened once again and through Joseph Smith the prophet, God restored His church on the earth once again. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and is evidence of God's love for us. I know it is true. I know that this book, along with the Holy Bible, is the true word of God. Together they contain the fullness of the everlasting gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation, and it continues to spread forth across the earth. I am beyond grateful, and I am honored to be apart of this great cause. Through this gospel we can have faith in Christ and repent, be baptized, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end by making special covenants With God in His holy temple so that we can eventually dwell with Him and with our families in His kingdom for time and eternity.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I attend church with my wonderful family. I have a calling as a ward missionary. I have the opportunity to spend time with the local missionaries, we serve the community and teach people about the restored gospel on the earth today. I try my very best every day to forget myself and serve others. Every morning and night I pray to my Heavenly Father and feast upon His words. On October 1st 2014, I will leave my family for two years to serve a mission. As a missionary, I will be a servant to The Lord by bringing his children unto him. I know that it'll be a very tough yet rewarding experience. It will be the best two years FOR my Life.
