Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a student, and find joy in learning. I'm a friend, I'm a young wife, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I study, work, and attend church meetings at Brigham Young University, so it is currently a huge part of my life. Favorite clichés: sunsets, shooting stars, rainbows, walks on the beach (but really I love all of these) Loves: my husband, my family, oreos and peanut butter, movie nights with plenty of popcorn, dance parties, fall weather

Why I am a Mormon

I love life and have been blessed with a good one! As I have grown up and gone through many changes in my life, one thing that has always remained constant is the influence of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I have good days, I feel my Savior's love as I can clearly see how blessed I am. When I have bad days, I am reminded of how extremely important it is to rely on my Savior and turn to Him for comfort and peace and understanding. Because of His gospel, I know that I can be with my family forever. Because of His gospel, my marriage is not "til death do us part," but is forever. Because of His gospel I know that God knows me personally, and I am a part of something bigger than this life. I know that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true. The Book of Mormon is a true book, and applies to our everyday lives and trials and joys. I know we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who is inspired and called of God to lead the church today. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has significantly improved my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity it gives me to learn and grow in faith.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are currently serving in a BYU YSA ward. I was called to teach the Marriage and Family Relations Sunday School class. I love this calling because I have been married less than a year, so everything I am teaching applies to my life. With every lesson, I feel like I learn more than I teach.
