Hi I'm Alasegi Pagofie

I am a Polynesian, a dyslexic and I love love love being a sister missionary in New Zealand!

About Me

I love to learn and getting to know people. I think that's the most fun part about being a missionary, seeing so much diversity. It's so special making new friends and connecting with them through sharing the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Especially in the most beautiful place in the world!!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. As I read the Book of Mormon I come to understand his role in my life, and how I can be a better person though learning about Him. Growing up as a dyslexic, I really struggled with reading. The first book I ever read was The Book of Mormon. I know it is true because it has helped me overcome my challenges as a dyslexic and to embrace all the challenges that come my way. I know that we are never alone, and no challenge is too great to oversome. I know that Christ lives, and because He lives, salvation is real and anything is possible. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His church and I want to be apart of His work everyday of my life. This gospel is all about becoming more than who we see ourselves to be. It is all about serving others, blessing families and building true happiness, forever. I love being a Mormon, it's been the best choice I've ever made!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through loving and following the example of Jesus Christ. I center my life on obeying His teachings and commandments. I also reach out to others in service and try to help them feel loved. One way I serve within The church is through being a missionary. I love teaching as well as inviting others to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
