Hi I'm Becca

I am a student, I am going on a mission to Hong Kong, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play the piano and sing. I have moved 11 times including twice out of the country. I am currently a missionary in the China, Hong Kong mission and I am speaking Mandarin. I love to play the piano and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know this church is true. I know the Book of Moron is true and I believe in the teachings of the prophets and church leaders. I have not found any other church that can provide the feelings of love that I have found here. I know that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself so I can live with my Heavenly Father and family again if I do what He has asked me to.

How I live my faith

I have chosen to serve a mission, trough my mission I am devoting a year and a half of my life to the service of God. I love to share the gospel and help others know that they have a loving Heavenly Father who cares about them and is invested in their lives.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Becca
Mormon women are happy, fun, and kind, they will be there for you no matter what and will love you unconditionally. Mormons do believe in equality of men and women but also that they have there seperate and equally important roles within the church. Women are primarily responsible for the family, and this role is not taken lightly in the church. by raising a gospel centered and righteous family, women are raising the future leaders of the church and the country. There is no greater responsibility than that of the future. Men have the responsibility of providing for that family and ensuring that it is protected. This does not mean that mormon women can't have jobs, because many of them have extremely successful careers. The church believes that it is a personal choice and they leave it to that. In the end, men and women are eual in the Church of Latter day Saints and are treated as such. Show more Show less
