Hi I'm Leo

I grew up in Utah. I have lots of sisters and they eventually became my best friends. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad of 1, a step-dad of 3, a grandpa of 5 and an uncle of many. I love to fish, take photographs, shoot, the outdoors, and my grand kids. i work in airports and around airplanes. I love to travel and see many new and interesting places.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the testimony I have. I know that Jesus is my Savior and Redeemer. Through his Atonement I have come to love Him and rely on Him for my eternal salvation. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith is and was a true prophet of God. This all is based on what the Holy Ghost has revealed to me, the burning in my heart and the positive warm feeling that I have when I am touched by his presence. Through the Holy Ghost, God touches my heart and speaks to my soul and tells me the truth of all things. These things I know to be true and I can never deny them for I know God knows I know them. I choose to be associated with the LDS faith because of this testimony and the covenants I have made with the Lord in keeping His commandments. This I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Right now I am in the Branch Presidency of a retirement branch. We have a wonderful congregation of older people who are all very loving and have strong testimonies of the gospel. I admire all of them and what they contribute to the church. Their faith is very strong and it's a joy being with them every week. We as a presidency visit members of our branch every week and enjoy getting to know them all in an individual way. I teach the Gospel Principles class and when the need presents itself, the Temple Preparation class. It is such a joy to see the faith of these members grow and develop as they learn more about the gospel and prepare to enter the temple for the first time ever or the first time in a long time.
