Hi I'm Nolan

I play the piano and banjo. I love singing in barbershop quartets, and I'm a missionary in Taiwan!

About Me

Right now in my life I am currently working hard to learn Chinese one day at a time. I am now living in Taiwan sharing what i love. But before this time in my life, I basically lived my life at my high school, but I loved it!! I loved being involved in the many different things I was in, choir with my friends, going to all the high school games, and being involved in student government, and I pretty much spent my whole day at my dear old high school and loved every second of it. My plans for the future: Serve my mission faithfully and diligently. Go to college and possibly work towards a masters degree, find my wife and start a family,...and compete in the 2019 barbershop singing international championships! All the while trying to become the best person I possibly can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel gives me hope and comfort. My parents and siblings were members their whole lives, so I grew up in the gospel. But my faith grew little by little. It makes me happy to know that I can have a family forever, and that we have Father in Heaven who loves us and knows us. The gospel is really what has given me the most happiness , and I know that through this gospel we can find true happiness. Worldly happiness makes you happy for a little while, but happiness in the gospel lasts forever !

How I live my faith

Right now like I had mentioned before, I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known as the Mormon Church. This means I have dedicated two years of my life to serving the Lord 24/7. So I'm living in Taiwan for two years teaching people about the gospel. As for how I live my faith on a day to day basis, ... I don't know, I just choose to be happy. I chose to serve the Lord, and I'm going to have a fun time doing it. Pray, study, learn, grow, serve, and you will feel the gospel influence your life. It truly is a great thing !
